Just wanted to share a few comments from the latest "Thank you" from Iraq:
We are Soldiers with the 340th MP Co., from Fort Totten, NY. We happen to work with Tim Alexander and he was kind enough to share with us some of the jerky you sent him. The jerky was amazing. Tim gave me and Perez each one page and we ate it in a couple bites. Since being in Iraq, since early July, we've both ate, ironically, the weight I bench 630# of various brands of Jerky. Just kidding but---- By far, yours is the best jerky we ate. Your jerky truly is better than all the others we have ate or tried to eat. We just felt compelled to write a letter of thanks. I am writing on behalf of my son, Specialist Justin Brockman, US ARMY, currently stationed in Mosul, Iraq, as a Combat Medic. He received a package from an organization in the states who enclosed a package of what he think is your beef jerky. He contacted me and asked if I could possibly locate this jerky and send him a bunch of it because it was the BEST JERKY he had ever tasted. Now mind you, I worked at a meat processing plant in Kewaskum, Wisconsin where we made our own jerky and he loved it. But, like I said, while over in Iraq, he experienced your jerky and said it was the greatest! It was excellent tasting and it was sooo tender he said! Simply put, DELICIOUS, TENDER and it tasted "LIKE MORE!!!!"
Today I was shopping for a roast for dinner (Since I work part time, Carol "lets me" do most of the grocery shopping). The local Super 1 had some Painted Hills roasts included with the store brand. I knew Painted Hills is the company you work for, so decided to try one. We were impressed with the quality of the meat. Great flavor and cut with a fork tender. The next time I "get to shop" for meat, I will look for Painted Hills.

Recently, Miramont Pointe hosted a "Western Barbecue" which featured The Cowboy Cook, Jeff Tracy, and a variety of products from Pianted Hills NAtural Beef. I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much everyone enjoyed your meats. The food was delicious, and all our guests had a great time. We recieved many, many, many compliments about the taste, quality and flavor of your beef. It was a pleasure to feature your products at our barbecue.

I ordered a steak a few weeks ago from the Shilo Restaurant by the airport in Portland, OR that was from Painted Hills...that was probably the BEST steak Ihave had since I was a kid...I can't wait to go get another one! I wish I would have known how good the beef! It tasted like what I remember from my childhood! YUMMY!!!
